Are you a behavioral health or primary care professional committed to caring for Massachusetts communities? If you work in a community health center, community mental health center, inpatient psychiatric hospital, or psychiatric unit in an acute care hospital, MA Repay may help reduce your student loan debt.
This program will award funding through two rounds of applications. The program collected Cohort Two applications from August 28, 2024 - September 25, 2024. The application window is now closed. Applicants awarded through Cohort One signed contracts before August 28, 2024.
Behavioral health and primary care are essential services, but current workforce shortages across the Commonwealth burden both providers and patients. The BHPC Student Loan Repayment Program addresses these shortages by offering eligible professionals student loan repayment in exchange for a service commitment in an eligible setting.
If you commit to four years of service providing behavioral health or primary care in an eligible setting, you may receive up to $100,000 in student loan repayment.
