The Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Student Loan Repayment Program offers student loan repayment awards to child and adolescent psychiatrists working in community health centers and community mental health centers.

This program will award funding through two rounds of applications. Cohort One signed Awardee Contracts before August 28, 2024. Cohort Two submitted applications between August 28, 2024 - September 25, 2024, and will receive award decisions in Spring 2025.

Child and adolescent psychiatrists provide essential services for the wellbeing of children, adolescents, and families. Communities in the Commonwealth are facing a severe shortage of these vital professionals. The MA Repay: Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Student Loan Repayment Program seeks to address these shortages by offering eligible professionals student loan repayment in exchange for a service commitment within a community health center or community mental health center.
